Hi! 👋🏽 My name is Nikita!

It looks like you have stumbled upon my slice of the Internet. I couldn’t be happier that you are here!

Here is a little bit of information about myself:

I care a lot and try hard. I love asking questions, engaging in thought-provoking discussions, whiteboarding, traveling, playing outside, and, most importantly, working with the garage door open.

Some Nouns to Describe Me:

  • Technologist
  • Reader
  • Writer
  • Wonderer

What Drives Me:

  1. Using software to build solutions that advance humanity
  2. Understanding both the technical and business implications of products
  3. Collaborating with other exceptional individuals

Some More Information :)

I want to build technology that changes how we learn, build, and think.

I love making people laugh, telling stories, and thinking critically about the world.

I strive to be kind, impactful, and curious.

I geek out on AI, software, writing, and reading.

I am currently building, testing, and deploying a machine learning model to predict farmer stress with @Leonardo Bastos to help solve the under-discussed farmer suicide epidemic.

In a previous life, I…

  • Studied Computing, Ethics, and Society for 1 month at Oxford University while chasing horses in Port Meadow, climbing the hidden caves of Cornwall, taking weekend trips to hidden gems like Bordeaux, France, playing a hyper-competitive game of minigolf next to the Roman Baths, screaming along to the words of Hamilton while watching it live in London, and going on an impromptu 26-mile bike ride through the countryside.
  • Built some pretty cool applications of LLMs to solve federal problems @ the US Census Bureau and was the first person to integrate GPT into a piece of publicly deployed government code
  • Did research and engineering at the Georgia Tech Research Institute
  • Explored the nooks and crannies of Vietnam with my closest friends. (Some highlights include being endlessly spun in a basket boat to the tune of “Gangnam Style”, feeling the wind in my hair on the front of a speed boat in Ha Long Bay, uncovering life’s hidden meanings with Buddhist monks, sprinting through the Hoi An night crowds to avoid missing our flight, discovering that ‘arbitrar’ is not, in fact, a word, partaking in polar plunges, and facing my archnemesis — liver pâté).
  • Worked as part of a 4-person startup to develop AI-powered political strategy campaign generators
  • Skiied through some epic mountain slopes in Utah after surfing (literally) killer waves in Hawaii
  • Cracked one too many delusional jokes with my friends as we pulled our second consecutive all-nighter at a hackathon while working to build an algorithm to generate personalized travel itineraries
  • Played tag with my friends on the NYC Highline after which we debated the possibility of objective morality in front of who other than Abe Lincoln himself, discussed the long-term implications of cancel culture with Paul Begala, watched Jimmy Fallon and the anchors of “The View” live as they discussed relationship advice, and lastly, rose before dawn to proudly wave the “Honors at UGA” flag on camera for Good Morning America.

I love making new friends, so feel free to reach out to me at nikitajha1912@gmail.com!
